Care about the world, looking after humans, follow authors and creatives, here to learn and explore, cuteness is lovely too
Sneaky peak. Due out in September. I have three stories in the latest anthology by Rugby Cafe Writers.
@dj-acid-reflux.bsky.social your book was chosen by our local bookclub. Will be reading it this month. Looking forward to seeing what everyone thinks. The very close second was by @marnieriches.bsky.social
Yep, we get that all the time. Our jack Russell is wonderful with people but other dogs, no thank you and yet people ignore us when we say don't come too close, or they let their dogs wander without a lead.
@georginadoodles.bsky.social so pleased how they look now that they are framed and on the wall. Plenty of room for some more in the future too. They are straight, it's just the photograph angle.
Our fella needs help with the higher spots too like the sofa and our bed around 4am. Turns 14 soon. Impossible to refuse.
I am looking forward to reading and learning from this book about supporting SEND children for their lives.
I haven't finished reading it yet but this book Unwell women is really interesting and is written by a woman who deals with day to day pain and bad health. Definitely worth a read.
We will be bringing our dog with us when we vote later to avoid this catastrophe.
Loved this concert tonight. Will be following them and going to more in the future.
So hard, our wonderful rescue is 14 this year and although he has only been part of our lives for 5 years, we do not want to imagine our lives without him.
A lovely day for a walk and scooby turned into a pup again, recharged by the sun.
A sunny Easter Monday bank holiday, getting some Vitamin D naturally rather than in tablet form, playing with the dog and reading while enjoying a coffee.
Saw a reimagining of War of the Worlds by imitatingthedog at the Belgrade theatre in Coventry tonight. As a huge wotw fan, I was really impressed by their clever use of perspective, the time they set it in and how topical it was.
@georginadoodles.bsky.social I was delighted to get a surprise collection of your B&W work yesterday from my husband. I will send a picture when they are all framed up and on the wall.
One of the things I love about going home is of course seeing my folks and enjoying the countryside but bringing back freshly made bread and scones by my Mum ( no pic of scones they were gone too quickly).
Loving the determination and lack of fear most of the #WinterOlympics needs. Astounding stamina and skill shown. Still can't decide on my favourite sport yet. Too much to choose from. But I could definitely do a long list of ones I can never do.
A present from a crow or more likely a fox in our front garden. Not sure what it is or where it's from but it's now in the bin.
