I’ve been paid out for my work in facilitating the sale of a copy of Action Comics #1, the First Appearance of Superman, so with that my percentage has been matched, split three ways and donated to the good people at Hero Initiative, BINC, and, ComicsPro coming to a total of 36k in donations.
A good customer and pal surprised me with this DC Comics McFarlane figure of Jack Knight Starman. One of my all time favorite characters and comics ever. This really made my day!

Realized today that I hadn’t read the Absolute Batman Ark M one-shot so I made sure to change that. I’m always into stories involving Arkham’s history and lore so it was pretty sick seeing all that in the Absolute Universe.
Another great issue of Swamp Thing 1989! Sure do hope the success of this series helps make a new Swamp Thing happen! Mini, ongoing, mainline DCU or Absolute Universe, I’ll take whatever I can get!
This month’s new Marvel Comics releases feature an amazing and moving tribute to my dear friend and mentor @gerryconway.bsky.social who passed away in April. His legacy will live on forever through the world of comics and pop culture. Miss ya Gerry!

After staring at my laptop for hours doing admin work for the shops, I went for a drive and found myself at the beach for a lunch break. Got my notepad, jotted down some story ideas I’ve been thinking about, did some doodles, and enjoyed the sight in front of me. It was lovely.
Currently writing a western story set in the world of Lost Fantasy and having a heck of a time with it. Be on the lookout for it later this fall! Artwork will be by Andrea Adiletto!

Came home from my annual trip to Liverpool with a signed copy of Anfield Road by @thechrisshepherd.bsky.social. An incredibly touching piece of sequential art. Can’t recommend it enough. It throughly moved me.
Just dropped off a box of brand new kids graphic novels at the local library because libraries are great and I love them.
And to no surprise, Swamp Thing 1989 continues to be a great ride (through space and time).
I truly do love walking through Liverpool and looking up to see the Gotham City Police Station that Batman jumped off of wearing a squirrel suit.

It’s been a magical Sunday up in the Lake District writing and checking out the sights.
When in NYC, I absolutely had to check out Midtown Comics. What a great shop in the heart of Times Square. The first thing I’m gravitated towards seeing on their new comics wall was a recent facsimile reprint of Spectacular Spider-Man #1, one of Gerry Conway’s iconic comics.
In the UK on holiday seeing family and getting loads of writing done. Also catching up on my reading. Just got to the latest Marvel/DC crossover one-shot. So. Much. Fun. Every creator was firing on all cylinders. 10/10.
