Saturn NetLink modem works! Upgrading over the Japanese modem :) . The Japanese Modem only runs at 14.4, while the black Netlink one is 28.8.

Their pinouts are are more or less the same except for the X and Y encoder pins, meaning you can run a Commodore mouse flipped on its side with an Atari or vice versa. Very awkward to use, but technically works.
What if we just put all the Quadrature Standards on one board? Lazy design to shove on top of a SmallyMouse 2.
While I complain about modems I did find a couple last night that aren’t modeled after USR or Hayes aesthetics. So much better.
