Just looked up what people are buying this expired 4x5 film for on eBay and goddamn
went camping on Fire Island. Did some beach, boardwalk, and trail running.
Lot of bus climbing last night but the ice cream trucks were still putting in the work
I bet other stores that have been robbed feel pretty stupid when they see a sign like this
I’m sorry, man, I just refuse to participate in this kinda thing for fucking movie tickets
going back through these has me realizing how often I favor shooting people as small scale figures. not going to look into this.
Have been scanning 35mm negatives from the first time I went to Rome in 2017, where I both had an orange filter on my lens and pushed the film the entire time, so the black levels are out of control. Funny what I see in them now compared to when I took them.
nice weather this weekend made me ironically realize this will probably be a p difficult summer of readjustment but so it goes
had gone slightly too early to really see everything in bloom. that’s the way it seems to go sometimes, though.
me shooting b&w: I need the most direct shadows and sun ever seen. me shooting color: get that direct light outta here. let’s soften that shit up. make the sun as soft as you can and double it. triple it actually.
always carry at least a point and shoot with you imo. it’s never a bad idea.
