And you may ask yourself, “Well, how did I get here?” Just a girldad & husband working in public health. Love a good musical, Boston sports, progressive politics, classic film, etymological tidbits, new wave music, & obsolete technology. Also pretty gay.
Emmy Rossum singing/growling “consume” has been living rent free in my head since 2004
Gave this a couple spins during 4th of July weekend. I love how its songs are rooted in the imagery and dreams/struggles of the American working class, but is also very escapist experience for the listener. The end of Thunder Road will always be one of my favorite moments in any classic rock track.

Thankful to be on this parenting journey with the most amazing dad and partner I could ever ask for. Also thankful to have grown up with such a wonderful role model. Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, granddads, father figures, pet dads, and daddies that make the world go round!
We didn’t happen to have this volume, but seeing the tracklist for 1966 and it is straight fire
May not have picked the best time of year to sport the longer hair and beard, but we shall see how long they last

Took our girls to a local Pride celebration this past weekend. There’s something uniquely rewarding about a small town Pride. Like everyone knows they need to be extra loud and intentional with their message of inclusion. They give me hope for our troubled country.
When I think of all the minor miracles that had to occur for us to have the privilege to be the fathers of these incredible kids, I feel so very lucky every day. #HappyPride
