This young fella would have turned 104 today! He cruised to 98 in his own home, fending for himself, then a bit of bad luck sent him to hospital & he went from great to dead in days. COVID was raging, but we were lucky enough to cross the border & see him b4 his death. Happy birthday Pa. ❤️ always

Someone said the other day was the coldest November day since WW II ended! This weather is whacky!! Had to scramble for firewood as we’d run down supplies in the lead up to summer… & more wintery weather heading this way !!!

We were in Ca in early spring. Packed up our desert camp in Joshua Tree one morning & that night slept beneath the giant redwoods amidst residual snow!! Beautiful! Australia is almost as big as USA, but low population. Prepare for diversity of all kinds!
