I’ve almost completely lost faith in our political system. It’s become/always-has-been a game with the winning strategy taking all. Caring about the electorate is a ploy used to get elected. Once achieved, all bets are off. Never has that been made so profoundly clear. How we feel is irrelevant.
Need to amend the Constitution to prevent felons from seeking office.
