Climbed to the top of the keep at Cardiff Castle this morning! The view was incredible but my legs feel like jelly after all those steep steps 🙃
Made it to Cardiff (which of course was cloudy in typical Welsh fashion) however we have had a nightmare with where we were supposed to be staying 😭 We are currently trying to find a hotel that won't cost a fortune 🙃 Hope your week is off to a better start! 😂
Every free time in three houses I make a beeline for the greenhouse & fishing pond before anything else 😂
Are we going to get 2 wins on the trot? Against the team that gave us such a thrashing last year? 😱
Our first game of the comp and our losing streak is broken 😌 here's hoping it continues.
Tomorrow is the start of the Hundred. It's one of my favourite times of the year because there's non-stop cricket, you get to see new talent competing alongside some of the greatest players of all time and the vibes are top notch. Excited to be watching 2 days live in Cardiff & London too!
ꕤ₊ ⋆.𖥔 ˖𑁍₊ ⊹ no matter what happens, make time for the things you love ꕤ₊ ⋆.𖥔 ˖𑁍₊ ⊹ relaxing with some elderflower iced tea and chilled out music 😌
Managed to snag a ticket to the Kasabian tour in the winter. Excited to be back in Manchester in the winter 🥳 Are any moots going to be there too?
Here was the Thai red curry with pilau rice & some spring rolls. The curry was amazing and was one of the best I've ever made 😋
Chilling out watching the final of the Vitality Blast, with a glass of wine. Northants are crushing it at the moment!
Been a busy day today. Did some shopping, had a boozy brunch and have just finished packing for my trip tomorrow. Looking forward to the UK Games Expo - one of my favourite times of the year ☺️
Man I love the music so much. The Spotify playlist will be on repeat when I'm at work for sure 😁
#CoffeeTalkTokyo Thread. I'm going to be playing through 1 in game day each day (for now...) before bed and sharing random moments. Maybe I also need to make a different drink for each day too... 🤔
Omfg I actually did! I can't believe it!! Gang, I'm going to be absolutely insufferable for the next few weeks 😂
Thanks for all of the love for Leonard over the last day or so. He's going to get a photo album just like his brother did so he'll always be remembered and loved. Gonna miss this little gremlin so much.
I'm heartbroken after finding out my tiny furball is no longer with us. He'd been suffering with epilepsy for the last few months and today was too much for him. I'm just so glad that I stopped to give him cuddles before I went to work this morning. The house feels so empty.
Didn't realize I hadn't been posting here 🙃 life's just been such a whirlwind lately. I've got a thread of exciting news that I'll share in the coming days but for now I'll leave you with this latte art that actually doesn't look awful 😅
I didn't get a picture of the sign at Kings Heath... 😞 However this does mean All 5 new stations: Moseley Village, Kings Heath, Pineapple Road, Darlaston & Willenhall ✅ (plus Bourneville, Selly Oak & Tame Bridge Parkway too)
Now, I could have just waited the hour to get the train back but I decided to walk along the Walsall Canal for 3.5km because that sounds like a sane decision right?! It was a good walk though. Also stopped by the Edgbaston Artisan Market to have a little look around. Was fun. 😌
Darlaston ✅ Much quieter than Willenhall. Hardly anyone got off the train and almost nobody on the platforms. That's 3 out of the 5 new stations ticked off. Just got the tram extension left for today.
Willenhall ✅ Loads of people using the station despite it only being open for a handful of days which is always nice to see. Even better news, the sun's come out! I hope it stays that way 🤞
It's all gone a bit wrong this morning. Attempted to tick off the whole of the camp hill line but delays on other lines have caused my plans to go out the window. Spending the day in Kings Heath tomorrow so will tackle the other stations then. Onto Willenhall & Darlaston.
I may have also made some irresponsible and impulsive purchases. I have some new seeds and have spent nearly £100 on some planters to grow some stuff including chamomile flowers 😊 who knows, if it goes well I could potentially grow my own chamomile tea!
Look: I planted some things! Aside from having my own little Clarkson's Farm moment - today was actually really needed. It was so healing to just spend some time outdoors 😌
