A full body reference sheet for Damien Aster, my Cartoon Network Fusionfall OC who stars in my main fanfiction series “Fusionfall: of Magic & Machines.” Damien is depicted as a robust yet friendly looking man with a full beard, a reddish orange jacket, reddish brown trousers, & 2 small, faint scars running across his nose.

A full body reference sheet for Demongo as he will eventually appear in my Fusionfall fanfiction series “Fusionfall: of Magic & Machines.” He has the usual jet black body, sky blue head-fire, & pale skulls lining his body, just as he did in Samurai Jack & Fusionfall. However, this version of Demongo dons a red jacket & jet-black pants instead of a cape. The letters from the left side of the screen read “テモンケ,” which is how Demongo writes his own name in this AU I made.

A full body reference for Demongo as he currently appears in my Fusionfall fanfiction “Fusionfall: of Magic & Machines.” Unlike the jacket design, Demongo still has his usual cape, & the skulls lining his body form a sort of body suit. However, unlike his original design in Samurai Jack & Fusionfall, Demongo’s head-fire is not fully alight. Instead, the top of his head admits a calm wave of black smoke with a hint of blue at the tip.

Gang I did it. The robot has transitioned. Also, the head-shape constantly makes me think of the Brain from Animaniacs, especially now that I drew it for myself. I’m not big on the show, but these are EXTREMELY fun designs. It was a DELIGHT to draw this. #robotboy

Instead of a rusty yellow, Protogirl is more of a pinkish red with salmon accents, & the little stripe at the waist is now a ribbon, cause I’m actually creative with where I put the “this is definitely a girl” bow.

The face is overall the same aside from the lines forming the eyes being slightly longer to give the illusion of long eyelashes.

the two have the type of relationship where they're like
Fuckin besties.
Like
They'll jokingly call each other mean shit & pull lil jokes on each other, but none of it is out of malice & they know this. It's essentially how they are in canon.
But in the AU, they're a lil something more. Not ROMANTIC, exactly, like they aren't gonna say "1 love you" or go out on dates or any of that shit
But they will gladly lay on each other when big chillin, finding enjoyment when the other brushes a few fingers along their body, finding a warming comfort in such skin-on-skin contact.

Now, obviously, there needs to be SOME progression in their relationship, but l also don't wanna do what Tall Problem did & just make em fight & split up on episode 1 & shit.
There's gonna be ups & downs, but it would be nice to see them feeling more & more comfortable with intimacy, especially now that they no longer have to worry about appealing to the masses as figureheads or keeping up with Irken customs & cultural norms.
After all, they legitimately had the HEALTHIEST relationship in the original show. Might as well work with that.
Dawg, that was the most compelling thing about those two.
In a show full of hate & gloom & nastiness, there was these two
Who NEVER showed genuine animosity toward one another.
Annoyance, maybe, but that's just human.
They genuinely gave a damn about each other, even if it's only evident in small moments & in more comedic scenes.

The old woman in question speaks in a kind, gentle, & supportive tone, but she also has this condescending aura to her, like her intentions are not as innocent as they seem but you can't quite prove it.
When Red & Purple eventually see her for the first time, even if only for a brief moment, Red notices her staring DAGGERS at them.
It's only until Red hears secondhand about her nature that he's reminded of Tallest Miyuki & how
SHE used to act.
Now since she was supposed to premiere in a scrapped episode, I ain't limited in how I can portray her, s0000000
I can imagine her having this Ice Queen type of vibe to her, like her mere presence makes the room temp drop just a little bit. She appears to be kind to her subjects, having such vocal optimism for the next generation of Irken, & this is particularly true with Red during his academy years.
Now, unlike most fanon interpretations that make Red & Purple enemies to friends, I can imagine these two were friends at first sight. Like actually

They were the first living things they saw upon being "born," & they were by each other's side ever since. They were quite literally inseparable.
The only time any potential wedge was put between them was when Miyuki tried to sway Red away from his companion, seeing potential in only him & not his more sociable partner.
Miyuki made Red feel special, especially when she vented her personal frustration over her people slowly turning more & more towards snacks over the years, & sees this exact problem amplified in Red's dear friend. She starts saying shit like "I know you'll be different" to him to push him in a specific direction, but she seemingly doesn't live long enough to make the impact she wanted (since Zim's goop creature ate her & all that)

Apparently that goop thing didn't finish the job.
That old lady? You already know by now who she is. She clawed her way out from the clutches of death & spent thousands of years as a metaphorical ghost, watching from afar as her empire slowly decayed
With the two laziest tallest in history at the forefront of these problems.

Turns out, SHE played a big part in that initial attack of the Massive, aiding the Resisty & ensuring all Irken contact was rendered impossible.
She was GOING to get her empire back, but before she did, she wanted to take care of one loose thread while indulging in her insatiable rage.
By killing the Irken who nearly killed her all those years ago
& taking down the two buffoons who taunted her empire.
Obviously, Red is REALLY fucked up by this whole confrontation, especially as someone who looked up to Miyuki despite fearing her so much, but they eventually win. They don't kill her, but they at least force her to retreat.
This is all I have so far. Things would obviously be subject to change, or be added/discarded.
Oh & Miss Bitters genuinely did wanna go on vacation, but a student runs into her right before she boards a bus, & is disappointed to hear that ANOTHER substitute ditched on the job before she could even make it out of town.

Welp Prepare for a LOT of screenshots (1/4)

So the AU obviously starts off with the two knuckleheads aboard the Massive, doing their usual thing, before the Resisty rock their shit (similar to the original AU & what A Very Tall Problem did)
Except the Resisty members are weirdly... specially trained. They aren't the idiotic cowards they were in the original show, at least it doesn't SEEM like it. Not to mention they seemingly knew EXACTLY how to attack the Massive, almost like they had some insider knowledge assisting them.
The Tallest are forced to make a quick escape via an escape pod. It's small & cramped & they hate it. They need to find the closest Irken-inhabited planet to get back on their feet. Either knowingly or unknowingly, they soon arrive at Earth, which neither are all that happy about.
Obviously, Purple's the MOST opposed to it since he never really liked to compromise or mask his nastiness like Red does, but the two didn't really have a choice.
Upon arriving at Earth, they begrudgingly meet up with Zim & IMMEDIATELY try contacting Irk so they can get off this planet ASAP
Except they can't. They don't know why, but they for some reason cannot reach Irk. In fact, they can't contact ANY Irken ANYWHERE.

Purple is freaking out while Red tries using every single braincell he has available to think of a game plan. He eventually decides that the smartest thing to do is to lay low until they can find a way to reach SOMEONE & figure out what the heck is going on.
This is when they get their human disguises, similar to Tak's holographic tech. This gives Zim an excuse to FINALLY ditch those shotty robo parents & make the claim that his dear ol mother & father went out on an indefinite vacation while his "third cousin twice removed" (or whatever) along with his equally twinkish companion take care of lil ol Zim in the meantime.
Dib IMMEDIATELY clocks that these are the Tallest since he canonically met them via a transmission before, but he still can't do much about it since everyone thinks he's bonkers still.
However, this gives Red & Purple the opportunity to see Zim's shenanigans & the oddities of Earth tirsthand.

I can see both of them meeting Professor Membrane & conversing with him, perhaps Purple using his more sociable talents to put some doubt into Membrane's head about how much time he spends away from his children due to his demanding job. This leads Membrane to spend more time at home with his kids moving forward, helping their relationship a bit while also giving Dib less free time to bother Zim & his tallest, which was the whole reason Purple even puller that 4D chess move in the first place.
Similar to the old AU, Red & Purple are also forced to attend school shenanigans, but instead of a parent-teacher conference, I can see it being some kind of counselor meeting where someone at the school wants to have a chat with the guardians to better facilitate the growth & development of their children (which is only done as a mandatory thing the school is FORCED to do, cause ain't no way those staff actually give a damn about these kids).

At some point in the AU, I can see Tak reappearing to take revenge on Zim along with the Tallest. She was never the most mentally stable in her debut episode, so after everything that happened to her since them, I like to think she also blames the Tallest for essentially turning their backs on her (which they kind of did, honestly). This happens decently early on in the AU, so the Tallest barely know how to defend themselves. They never needed to for the longest time, so how were they supposed to do it now?
Even after Tak is driven off, she hinted that she was not alone in her endeavors, which makes Red a wee bit paranoid & motivates him to start training again, like he did back in his youth.
Purple eventually finds him training & is surprised to see his co-ruler sporting a different outfit. Red tells him that all Tallest garments have an alt battle mode in case they need to defend themselves. Purple claimed to never knew this, & Red brushes it off as Purple not paying attention during their initial inauguration into the new tallest. Throughout the AU, Red spends more time in this alt mode than Purple does.
Later on in the AU, a new teacher arrives at the school, claiming to be a substitute while Miss Bitters "takes a little vacation."
