I'm a bit behind on everything I wanted to get done today, but it's also need too long since I took Sid out for a walk so I'm opting to spoil my kitten.
They're mostly shoved into a cramped box in my closet until I have space to display them at the moment. I used one of them in a photoshoot my friends helped me with to make a possible cover for the book I'm currently querying.
So vicious. So cuddly. So able to be comfortable in any position.
At the environmental center to watch The Extraordinary Caterpillar documentary and we've got some Cecropia Moth caterpillars. They look like space aliens.
Went on a fun four mile hike this morning along an old trail trail. We saw some cool stuff including two small American Chestnuts too!
Mexico is having a PARTY in Hudson Yard while they wait for the match against England. <3
First time being able to harvest some of the blackberries in my yard. Got enough to half fill a little rammy-kin. There's a bunch of new bigger bushes too so I'll have even more next year! ^_^
I haven't been good about taking Sidnout for walks recently. Although with the heat they're more like lay downs in the grass.
While I was cleaning out his litterbox, this menace ate a daddy long legs. Now he's looking for more.

I almost never win things, but I did today win a raffle at the environmental center for some art that my friend donated. I need to get them framed!

My nordic mug from David's Tea. I have four different kinds, but I use this one the most. The tentacles used to be completely black and they change color when the mug heats up, but the color change is starting to stick because of how much I've used it.
Saw a pretty interesting find while doing a my shift for a local nature watch. Two little blue herons north of their usual range in wetland in NYS.
