When I heard this on NPR this morning, I thought I was still asleep, and it was a nightmare. Why is Rubio trying to dismantle the ICC? The International Criminal Court can only investigate crimes committed in states that ratified the 2002 treaty establishing the ICC. *The US is NOT one of them.*
Yup. Called it two days ago, as soon as I heard the news. Trump is SO predictable.
But will we still be able to photograph that beautiful horse? The horse who is probably thinking, “Okay, you got me here. But as the saying goes, you can NEVER make me drink that nasty-ass water.”
My vet kindly described his mass as “majestic” - even though he’d have torn her arm off. 😼 He’s sitting on a 4 foot tall scratching post that I built for him, because those in stores were nothing to him. I showed it to him; he stretched, scratched it, and then climbed on up to his rightful place.😹
Oh my! That is the song that played in my head every morning when my 18 lb big boy would try to tackle my legs as I was headed to the door to go to work. And when I made it to the door, he’d just sit and look at me forlornly. And I’d imagine him playing that song in his head.

It’s 2:30 am. I had been staying up, hoping to see at least the first letter of Trump’s name being torn off the Kennedy Center. Sitting on my porch because my house is too hot. There’s this lovely bird sitting on a wire, bathed in a street light, singing the same song over and over. Very calming.
Great reporting as always, Scott. Note 1: “Defendants suggest that they will lose ‘time and money’ from restoring the name…” What about all the time and money they spend to change the name of the DoD to the Dept. of War? Or on their frivolous lawsuits? Note 2: The most delicious item was the last.
Such a beauty, and so graceful. The colors remind me of a childhood licorice-flavored candy called Good ‘n’ Plenty. May the FP-7 be good, and deliver plenty of misery to the targets it aims for.

Love them! I still cherish my mom’s incredibly deep purple irises that I dug up and replanted in my yard (and shared with a family friend - last photo) after she was gone, and her house was sold.
Good piece by @theguardian.com - the swamp is expanding. You might expect a Trump to be among the founders of a new US group getting a Balkans pipeline contract. Not yet (just pitchmen). Founders: 1. A corrupt Bosnian 2. a MAGA lawyer for Trump & Jr., who won Michael Flynn $1.25M 3. And…Flynn’s son.
Looks like Russia really overshot whatever target they intended to hit. How long before they claim it was a Ukrainian drone? Or have they already? I’m just catching up.
