Episode 5 of The Web Planet ends with the Dr & Vicki clutching hold of each other in terror, surrounded by Zarbi, as they are shot with cobwebs, leading to a genuinely good cliffhanger.
Reading the telesnaps summary of #DoctorWho The Faceless Ones. I'm struck by how boring the Chameleons' space station design is. I know there wasn't much budget but this is pretty simplistic, & it's jarring after the nice effect of the plane's wings folding back to turn it into an orbital vehicle.
Really enjoyed Twig (writer Skottie Young & artist Kyle Strahm). The art & dialogue are wonderful. This short series doesn't overstay its welcome. Has many good jokes, including one that reminded me of the Dish of the Day from Restaurant at the End of the Universe. Recommended for all ages. #Comics

Currently reading #DoctorWho Rebellion on Treasure Island by Bali Rai. About 2/3rds done. He captures the 11th Dr and Clara well, but I wonder whether there is sufficient plot here. Not sure why River or the paternoster gang feature, other than for the fun of it. There is almost no pirating in it.

#DoctorWho Frankenstein & the Patchwork Man by Jack Heath: Excellent book. Easily the best in this mini-range of literary tie-ins so far. Highly readable; a solid story in its own right, rather than existing solely to fit into the range. I hadn't heard of the author before - hope he writes more DW.
Very much enjoyed O'Niell's art in Nemo: The Roses of Berlin. His nightmarish cityscapes are extraordinary. Moore's repeated references to Nemo's female descendants marrying as children is creepy, though. A literary reference, perhaps? Many such references went over my head, I felt them passing by.

My current reading. This book reprints material from early Doctor Who annuals from Hartnell through to Tom Baker (no Davison). One Pertwee text story has the Doctor fight against a Kelad, a robotic creature whose name spelled backwards will be familiar... This predates the Kaleds in Genesis.
#StarTrek TNG "Inheritance": The one with Data's Mom. The build-up to the final revelation is good, with both Spiner & Fionnula Flanagan extracting every ounce of emotion out of the script. When I was younger, I disliked character-centric stories like this, but I appreciate them more now.
