thank you Bee for reminding me to milk another KU promo! meant to cancel until my reading slump is over, and as expected they gave me another offer to stay 🤭 i’ve got so many books that i started and didn’t finish, so hopefully i can get through them all in the next 3 months

not sure how those of you that live in areas that have wildfire more often handle the smoke so casually 😭 i was only outside briefly and still immediately felt awful. and i know this isn't even as bad as what some of you have to deal with 🫠

since i'm going down memory lane and dating myself with my music, i might as well say how i also miss Borders bookstore so badly 😭 i have so many memories of going there since i was small and spending hours in their stacks. if they were still around i'm sure B&N would be just a blip on the graph 💙📚

oh so i asked my doctor for a new spacer for my inhaler and she gave me the one that has an extra mask thingy for kids. so if i’m the stock art on these boxes i’ve literally gone from reading in the grass to being a kid on the swings 😭 i guess it’s accurate for how my brain feels lately tho? 🤠

random question: thoughts about Marshal in the wedding singer vest? 👀 some side-by-sides:

Spectrum: "Spectrum service is experiencing an interruption that is taking longer than expected to resolve due to a combination of software and infrastructure issues." The software and infrastructure issues:

The back of a UPS battery backup showing a internet coaxial input cable completely melted off and only leaving the connector left screwed into the back of the UPS. The UPS is visibly bulging where the connector is.

A completely burned and melted piece of coax cable. At the very end is about an inch or two of just thin wire. Then another inch or so of metal shielding is exposed. Then an inch of visibly blackened and melted rubber, followed by discolored brown rubber. This used to be a completely white cable.
