Anyone have an idea what these are? Picture from my aunt. I thought maybe various instars of blue shield bug but the nymphs aren't spotted & she said the adults that flew off looked rounder, like beetles. If my aunt hadn't said she took the photo I'd have thought AI tbh.

These aren't all finished, most aren't, but yeah! Agate does come in purple sometimes! The big square piece came from a specific mine, & the one directly to the left came from a specific mine shaft that is flooded now.
It's fun! One of my friends gave me a cool purple agate to polish. I'd gotten a slab of a really rare jasper I wasn't skilled enough for so he traded me a bunch of agate & a couple of low quality opals.
