this is your weekly reminder that no matter what Slop and AI companies says, human written code is far better than stupid AI generated security reports.

Curl is also the most secure codebase I've seen. I tried
to hunt for vulnerabilities in it (having reviewed the
slop report collection for fun) and got zero hits. Maybe
some borderline documented behavior, but nothing
with any reasonable security impact. So I probably did
it right. But on almost every codebase I've reviewed
extensively in the past, including glibc, I've found at
least one issue with a security impact. Curl is the only
one which I've found completely clean as far as I could
see. I think the bounty program has been largely
beneficial to curl over the years and has overall
contributed positively to the project's security, despite
the recent downtrend. Keep it up

story of AI batshit crazy Microslop in two pictures 🤣 they missed browser and mobile devices era and now they started force feeding the AI slop to everyone thinking that it will be the chance of lifetime but guess what? it backfired. i am surprised it is only down 31%.

`netstat` on Unix, macOS, and BSD (now replaced by `ss` on Linux) is a standard command for viewing and debugging network connections. There is a newer, more modern tool called snitch, written in Go lang, designed to inspect network connections on Linux and Unix with a cleaner and easy to use TUI

In an interview with “The Verge”, the new Mozilla CEO, Enzor-DeMeo, IMHO hints that axing adblockers is something that, at the very least, was on the table in some form and at some point. From the article:

"He says he could begin to block ad blockers in Firefox and estimates that’d bring in another $150 million, but he doesn’t want to do that. It feels off-mission."

It may be just me, but I read this as “I don't want to 😜 😜 but I'll kill AdBlockers in Firefox for buckerinos 😂”. This disappoints and saddens me a lot, and I hope I'm wrong.

"RemoveWindowsAI" is a script created by zoicware, available on GitHub, that does exactly what it says: it remove every AI feature in Windows 11. Do what you wish to do with this information. I'm sharing this because some folks are forced to use Win11 at work or other places for any reasons.
