Auckland to Christchurch to Queenstown to Christchurch to Kaikōura #3x3thumbsup #3x3thumbsup2026 (had to repost, noticed a dumb dumb mistake in my alt text)
Wake up people, the @panels.bsky.social 2027 riso calendar is coming and it's gonna be volcanic 🌋
This year for #3x3thumbsup I'm once again torturing myself by looking at and painting vacation pics - this time from our trip to Aotearoa NZ at the start of the year (and maybe a handful of Helsinki) 💚
I turn 30, you get 30*! *off everything in my shop to make space, have a look & share: cyluhoprints.etsy.com
Happy summer-birthday to me 🫠 (it is not yet the day, I am German, do not congratulate me in advance)
Print-day tomorrow! New stuff in the shop next week then and a big sale for my big birthday at the end of the month! cyluhoprints.etsy.com
Helsinki! I'm coming back! Give me your favourite (vegetarian) places for food and coffee and things to see!
I love Long Night of the Museums, I love how alive the building is, the whole hustle and bustle, but also my feet fecking hurt.
We saw these on a rainy day at Zealandia Te Māra a Tāne in Wellington. Very, very rainy, but it felt fitting to the surrounding. 🐡

I believe the correct expression in this case would be: "Mühsam ernährt sich das Eichhörnchen."
Sometimes I doubt my abilities as an illustrator but then I get a silly idea and I don't care anymore.
I've got a cold and I'm whiny, so here's a creature I saw on better days in New Plymouth.
And before I forget again - for this week's drawing my partner chose Hector's dolphin. We spotted these on a boat ride with Whale Watch Kaikōura. Would recommend, they are very open about measures they take to ensure minimum impact while also giving very good info about wildlife!
Wait, I forgot to show you! I actually painted THREE aotearoa animals last week! We saw these in the kiwi house at Te Puia!
Smoooooth weka 🤌🦖 The ref was taken when we took a little break at cleopatra's pool in Abel Tasman Nationalpark. We hadn't really eaten anything since breakfast and suddenly we were surrounded 😂
Yeah, like, you could hire me! Weird animals! History! Disease! Death! Give it to me. I've been told I'm really good at drawing "disgusting" things 🙂↕️
I want to do more drawing again bc it tends to fall under the table with everything more immediately earning me money to pay bills. But I AM an illustrator and this is my profession! And I have so many project ideas in the pipeline! So today I sat down to do the base layer for this pūkeko.
What a privilege it was to be able to just take off for 4 weeks like that. We did lots of travelling all without a car which worked out really nice 👌 I didn't draw a bit and stayed away from Social Media & also News mostly but I took a million photos.
