Did a talk recently and thought I should share a couple of slides from my presentation that perhaps warrant further study.

Diagram of the animation career path, illustrated with a winding road on which Cyriak joyfully skips as he navigates his creative journey. Places of note along this circuitous route include "detour via job centre", "boring office job" and "making loads of weird videos". The journey ends with Cyriak striding purposefully into the future, though his hair takes a different path

Diagram of "The Process Rainbow", dividing the creative process into a spectrum of "making it up as i go along". The spectrum ranges from "no idea what I'm doing" (red), to "kind of know what i'm doing" (yellow), to "totally know what i'm doing" (blue). These categories are ordered along a vertical axis according to their "messing about level", from "not much" (blue) to "loads" (red). The horizontal axis measures "weirdness level" with blue being "normal-ish" and red being "crazy shit"

I woke up in the middle of the night with an image burned into my mind that heralded the coming of the end-times. I have re-created this image to the best of my memory, though looking at it now I dunno if it inspires the same feeling of dread as it did at 3 in the morning..

St. Cyriac is an excellent saint to petition to protect children from temptation online. Because he is the saint associated with eye disease, St. Cyriac is also an excellent saint to petition for children's eyesight, which can be strained due to screen time.

Saw what appeared to be a painting of a magpie on the ground, but on closer inspection it might just be some random dirt. Its eye is a ladybird that decided to sit there.
