Reading Talia Mae Bettcher's Beyond Personhood: An Essay in Trans Philosophy on my bus rides lately... Although I'm finding it a frustrating read in places, this is possibly the most kick-ass paragraph I've ever read in a philosophy book
My hairdresser, one of the sweetest cis guys in my superobjective opinion😂, did my blue hair a 3rd time, while bragging,w/ proof, that he's become the go-to hairdresser for the local trans community, giving people their first gender-affirming haircuts etc,which is kind of a neat thing to brag about💙
I think my hair is getting out of hand now, even if it matches the Scottish sky on rainy days😂 - it's time to bring the blue summer mohawk back...I'd try another colour, but I can't think of any - the blue has become *my* colour now.

DJ Daesabat😂 has lots of problems (including an annoying lip inflammation, thanks to which they're researching different types of cheilitis every day),& spring isn't quite producing the feeling it should, but their choice of colour&pattern for their new button-up shirts is thoroughly unproblematic!

After politely asking a client if he has brushed his hair (bc I'm required to remind him to brush it, though it's patronising& I dislike doing that too), I get the completely deserved answer "your hair looks like it needs brushing too"...which..fair, but I worked so hard on getting it to look messy😂
Last night, this buddy bid me good night. I think it's some kind of Eratigena (atrica?), a (giant?) house spider, but don't hold me to it.
Anytime I sit down to read, my cat comes to sit on top of my textbook or computer keyboard. He knows he is worthier of my lap than this stuff.
Been having a rough time lately, stressed & tense, energetically mismanaging boring necessary tasks. No longer used to academic writing & assignments, just summoning the focus zaps me completely & wastes ages. Feeling like a kid before exams. But I kinda like my grumpy old man look & grown out hair.
Christmas gifts are mostly for my kid (&yet another cookery book for my partner, ofc, so he can continue to do most of the creative cooking🤫), but I also got myself a clichéd gift of men's underwear&socks, spiked blue earrings to match my hair,&a cute pronoun pin sadly so tiny no one will notice it😂

Honestly...I could never be any other guy😅 ...especially when I answer that I am most likely to check myself out in every reflective surface, and that my mythic fate is "Orpheus, losing his lover twice" 🤣...
