Next week: Andy Burnham announces a Government outpost on the moons of Jupiter will be up and running by the end of the year. It's... Number 10 Io!
Doing a tentative rewatch (not every episode, just the important ones), and I've got these to hand to fill in the gaps. I've not seen it in 30 years! @andylaneauthor.bsky.social Did you ever get a one-volume reprint or was the page count always going to be prohibitive?
One of the comments on the BBC advert... presumably this refers to what happens on EastEnders when someone has a really good look at something?...
Old 'Would I Lie To You' about a psychologist called Nicola Clayton teaching Ben Miller how to talk to crows led me to this article, and the name of her colleague 😆😆
The TV Quiz World Cup begins again on Monday 13th on BBC2. All three of the first group games are back-to-back. And at a reasonable time! 😁
Not sure about the caption. Nudist walking is not something we really want to encourage. Especially not in Yorkshire.
I do wish the person Taylor Swift was getting married to was not called 'Travis'. I always do a double take at the headlines about him because my brain first goes to this chap.
Blimey. It's harsh enough being in those conditions without also having to 'go round the table and tell us all an interesting thing about yourself.'
Been enjoying this DVD, the final existing-in-some-form DW I didn't own, which I got for my birthday. Some great extras including one of the most well-put-together, imaginative and comprehensive making-of documentaries ever. Peter Purves saying 'bollocks' was not on my bingo card 😆
Watched 'Tooth and Claw' with the youngest in between Footballings tonight. Thought it was great. From a better and more innocent time. Felt quite sad about how so much has changed, in so many different ways. Both 'Doctor Who' related and not.😳 #DoctorWho
Always amused by that name 'Sam Matterface'. Here's his brother, Omega Antimatterface.
Weird skies tonight making it seem like we're looking out on the east coast. Sheffield-on-sea!
I mean, 'sorry for your loss' would have done, but the kind and caring tax office have to go that one step further. I'm guessing if I spent a year dead for tax purposes, like Hotblack Desiato, they'd probably still catch up with me.
