Hi-Ho, Kermit the Frog here. (Also, okay, actually a human with a small residential architecture biz, interested in urban design, MCM architecture, cats, and all things Seattle/PNW related.)
Tomato cage suggestions for next year? What I’ve got going is definitely not cutting it. 🌱
Maren Morris at the zoo last night. I’d never gone to Zoo Tunes before & lemme tell you: perfect venue for families & tired middle aged people. SO chill. Concert started by 6, ended before 9. Everyone had beach chairs. Got caught up w/a dear friend. We brought our takeout in. 10/10 would recommend.
My own cow kitty who specializes at being a menace between the hours of 3-5am but otherwise doing only lovable, endearing things.
A dresser my grandpa built in college (mid-50s) is now our sort of entertainment console in front of our TV. It is extremely sturdy. We moved it from upstairs to downstairs & it will probably never move again as long as we are here.
I was looking through my son’s yearbook and had to laugh when I read this from one of his science teachers. My kid loves chemistry.
My afternoon involved figuring out where the sprinkler system was leaking. I’m sure there might have been a more inconvenient place in the yard, but I genuinely can’t think of one. Anyway, it’s done. And I rock. 💪
I love Seattle. Here’s a guy just casually painting Zuck’s boat on fire.
My husband’s latest honey harvest was SO much darker than last summer’s. It is crazy how much whatever is in season affects the taste, color, and viscosity of the honey. Left (this spring) is probably mostly maple. Right (last summer) is probably mostly ornamental flowers.
My sweet baby, may he rest in peace, had his own little container of vanilla I kept in the freezer for him.
Sprout’s face when I open a bag of (specifically) sour cream & onion chips.
