OMG she even was the one to invite the handshake, according to the police report. Also "has been very vocal on social media about digging in on that stance" is a funny way to describe posts using actual slurs. Hard to imagine it being any other slur and getting that description.

Hey, @nytopinion.nytimes.com do you think maybe it would have been helpful to provide readers with the context that the writer of this op-ed was once senior counsel for a designated anti-LGBTQ hate group? (Shouldn't have run it at all, but we know you lower your standards for anti-trans pieces.)
