In my case, my first time was watching a Fathom Events screening of the stage production, then seeing the actual movie. Go fig.
@podcasttenp.bsky.social yo, uh, Yzma confirmed this year for Oogie Boogie Bash but I doubt I'm the first one to ping you.
And I think I can pin it to two major reasons why. A clear love of the genre, and the cast. I mean, they went out of their way to get John Hurt to reprise his role from Alien, where he has the Michigan J Frog chestburster.
Because it's unprofitable to side with him and he wants to have a job after the midterms so he can peddle more racist talking points to everyone's grandparents.
If we're citing his other works, I need to say just how fucking awful Gilchrist's Muppet comics were.
You're god damn right and I hate it. They could be used for good. But the simple fact is that this website, while better than twitter by leagues and miles, also has issues with folks who damn near act like this meme.
Yes.... heh.... the person who regularly tells transphobes to go fuck themselves and was famously blocked by JK Rowling on twitter for doing so is a transphobe. This site is a joke I swear to god....
Richard Hunt. Director and puppeteer. Also known as Scooter, Beaker, Janice, Statler, and so many others from the various realms of Jim Henson. Passed in 1992 due to the AIDS epidemic.
I think you worked on these, but the DC/Looney Tunes crossovers from the 2010s. Not a single one of them was a dud. Personal favorites are these ones.
I just found a photo of some family friends. A pair of gardeners and their boss.
I'm just saying that there's so many films that were considered outright flops or underperformers in their time that are considered classics now.
Wait, sorry, I read that wrong. They dropped an anvil on the organizer of the White House concert for trying to con people. Typos.
