2/4 - Exploring around the Cottonwood Lakes basin - Wildflowers are already out - Marmot - Camp
3/4 - pretty meadows on the way to New Army Pass - scary looking cornice up at the pass itself - might find a way up, but that slope is steep and the snow soft - back down to the basin
4/4 - coming down from New Army Pass, a bit postholey - nap needed! - hiking out - back to the trailhead
Did a 2 night trip to Cottonwood Lakes. Warm and dry, but snow still high on New/Old Army Passes.
Feels weird to be encouraged to drive more on Texas tollways (I did once, two years ago) My electric and water utilities don't give me gift cards if I consume more power and water
