A cargo ship carrying approximately 8,000 tons of soda from Albania to Ukraine sank in the sea north of the island of Andros on Wednesday. All nine crew members (8 Turkish nationals, 1 Azerbaijani) on board were rescued by the Greek Coastguard.

Eight children have been killed in a mass shooting that took place at multiple residences in #Shreveport, Louisiana. The victims ranging in age from one to about 14 years old. The suspected shooter is also dead, according to police.
