The Dovestone moor wildfire in Manchester 30m/50km away has turned the sky orange & the air smokey in South Liverpool. There's also a major incident wildfire on Conwy mountain in North Wales with people evacuating Penmaenmawr. Politicians that are against net zero are lying & taking us for fools.

My hotel room thermostat has AI in it. Apparently it needs machine learning to determine: if (curTemp > setTemp) { blowCold(); } else { blowHot(); } As a software practitioner, I think we've lost the run of ourselves. As a human, I think we have gone mad.
