Love the new expansion to Biidaasige park. A different feel from the original part but still wonderfully organic and natural. #Toronto

Already missing the beautiful sights and cool weather of Reykjavik, Iceland. 🇮🇸 🫠

Þufa, an art piece in the harbour of Reykjavik. A spherical manmade hill is covered in sod. On the top of the hill is a shed for drying fish with a spiral path up to the top. Great place to sit and watch the world pass (until other tourists show up). Sky is cloudy and you can just see the skyline of the city behind the hill, especially the spire of the Hallgrimskirkja

Colourful houses stand in a row along a street (grey, white, green, orange, blue, yellow, black, red and others). On the side closest to the camera, there is a mural of an elderly woman’s face smiling and looking at the viewer. The sky is overcast and there is no traffic or pedestrians on the street, just parked cars.

Today marks 60 years since 15 Feb 1965, when Canada introduced the iconic red and white Maple Leaf. So iconic, that the Canadian Pale, the ratio of the red and white stripes, was named after it. Happy National Flag of Canada Day. #cdnhistory #vexillology

The National Flag of Canada is a red flag, twice as long as it is wide (proportion 2:1, or 64 units in length and 32 units in width or depth, as shown in the accompanying diagram). In its centre is a white square the width of the Flag, with a single stylized 11-point red maple leaf in the centre.
