My next book is @lollardfish.bsky.social and @profgabriele.com’s Oathbreakers. Knowing very little about the Carolingian empire and civil war I’m finding it to a good and accessible history so far

My next train read is Grass by Sheri S. Tepper. I know nothing about this book. I just put my name on the waitlist at my library after @scalzi.com’s recommendation of “Dune world building with feminism” and it finally popped up

Next book is These Burning Stars by Bethany Jacobs. I’m still early in but I can say that for a space opera with a lot of moving parts it gets through its setup at a good pace so it impresses early
My next train read is the third in the Dungeon Crawler Carl series which is train themed, so that’s neat. It’s as much fun as I’ve come to expect from the series and the hook for this one looks especially interesting

Next train read is Fat Leonard by Craig Whitlock. Living in San Diego I’m familiar with the story since a lot of the flag officers he bribed were based here
