Yeah, i like the actual style, but the colour and the dark wash are not a good match. Hence, why im going to fix it up a bit.

I had some of that aluminium strip left, so I made a couple of wee circlets. I went with a more simple textured look this time. Im going to give the Obsidian one to N at my study group as a birthday gift and hope it fits.

He's colonised my shoulder. Im going to miss this when he grows up.

Early Fathers Day gift from the cats, a nice violet fluorite skull.

Ok, so i got about a third of the way around the band of my crown with some of the crystal chips, but I can't get much further until the glue sets, lol. I didn't take a pic of me covering the duct tape with aluminium plumbers tape, mostly because I was too busy gluing.

The Labradorite cabochon for my circlet arrived today. I think it's safe to say im happy with it.

Ok, so if I'd known the duct tape would have made it that much quicker, I'd have gone with that from the start. It's just a shame I didn't have any of that aluminium tape plumbers use, but I suppose it's an idea for the next one. Also I need more duct tape lol.

Im going to be honest, a lot of my existing tools are bought. My first pentacle was aid dried clay, but when I could afford a nice wooden one from a friend, I upgraded. I do enjoy making wands and have made a bunch of them for myself and others. Including this new one.

Life goals.

Day 2, got the aluminium strips skinned over, turns out gorilla glue is actually strong enough to do the job. I kind of wish I had more of those wee clips though, they are super handy.

Ok, I have both ends and the middle of my aluminium strip skeleton glued on and clamped. And since my two part araldite glue burst on me we are seeing if gorilla contact glue will do the job on metal. Give it 24 hours and I'll skin the gaps and let that step dry.

A thank you gift from Mum. She said it was for all the hassle on Tuesday, but honestly, she's my mother, im not sending her into a&e in Edinburgh by herself. Nice gift though.

And finally a pair of street performers, im not sure if they were God or Goddess representations or Fae, but they were very cool.

Next we have a handmade waxes leather bottle, a roe deer bone, thats destined for Wand work, some cute pins for my bag and a really nice bit of Rhodochrosite.

Some of the stuff I picked up from the Enchanted market in Falkirk today. Two vases from the Salvation Army, one is a replica of a museum piece in Cyprus according to the bottom, and one im not sure of the little stick figure are cool though. The stone was from Portable Weirdness.

My new altar pentacle arrived, my current one has a very, very persistent oil stain on it that I just cannot for the life of me shift, so I'll consecrate this baby at the full moon and retire the old one. #witchsky
