We talk about AI hallucinations but sometimes it’s not just tech that speaks utter bollocks… The Captain Scarlet episode Manhunt “seem little more than left-over Thunderbirds scripts” makes me wonder if the writers have ever watched either series. At least they don’t say “iconic” or “beloved”
Now we’re done with Thunderbirds it’s on to Captain Scarlet and to say this programme is bleak is an understatement. Very high death count and it can be brutal as well

Watching Captain Scarlet and yet another unexpected Prisoner Cell Block H crossover Gary Files and Charles Tingwell both appear in the flesh in Prisoner and both provided voices for Captain Scarlet including Captains Magenta and Brown

It’s pretty much uphill all the way up to the tunnel mouth, turn around and back down again. As you’d expect of course. Except the landscape plays some tricks on your brain. Running down hill, but it looks and feels uphill. But it isn’t up, it’s down. But it always feels up!

Friday night at the cinema. Toy Story 5 was good but I also had to sit through some godawful trailers. Another Cat in the Hat? Paw Patrol? Live action Moanna that looks expensive and cheap at the same time?
