Some evil dipshits stole the 2022 historic marker commemorating the origins of LGBTQ+ Pride in Indiana. It was located downtown on Monument Circle in Indianapolis. Bad news, phobes: LGBTQ+ Hoosiers have always existed in our state - and always will.
I made herbed butter. Might I have over-herbed? Possibly. IDK. I put them in the ice cube tray to freeze, and then I'll put them in a freezer bag and use them as needed.

Growing food is political. It’s an act of rebellion. Every homegrown vegetable; Every jar of home-canned food; Every loaf of homemade bread, is a tiny act of resistance and an entrée (pun intended) to self sufficiency and mutual aid in an increasingly insecure world.
Two years ago, I got an EV, and I'm so happy I did. There are some features I wish could be modified or turned off, but two years without going to a gas station have been wonderful.

I grew up working on my family's farm, learning gardening from my grandparents. Over the years, I've gardened as a casual hobby. This year, I'm gardening as an act of rebellion, survival, therapy, and honestly, self-preservation in a very uncertain world with fewer safeguards for the food we buy.
The indoor plants are doing well, too, except for the coriander. I can't get it to do anything but wilt.
