Old school IT engineer, weather gazer, Padres sufferer. RIP Heidi (Oct ‘23) & Wolfgang (Jan ‘24). I talk about CHF & Parkinsons cause I have them. USAF vet.
This is the back of the little alcohol wipes I use. Components are pad and alcohol. Wasn’t expecting the plot twist at the end.
Tsosche the 3-month old puppy got fixed & shots this morning, and now this afternoon is absolutely unhappy with the entire gig. Insists he wasn’t broken in the first place … and in a loud high whiny voice. #puppy
Here’s hoping for better things & better news. This might help a smile though - we’ve adopted a lost puppy. Somebody dumped him out here, a 2 to 3-mo old border collie we think.
This song is for you Darth. Especially this baseball season it seems.
Gee golly, guess someone’s gonna have to miss the basketball game now.
For about 4 days, I thought we were being visited here on the Rez by the white dove of peace. Turns out it’s an leucistic mourning dove, kinda like an albino. It has moved on now.
Hey, wonder if someone there read my post from yesterday! 😂 (For the record, of course not.)
Let’s see, I think I was supposed to do something … what was it? Give the dogs their afternoon snack, maybe?
Guess Maria forgot what Kash Patel said on her show a month ago. Plus he said, "I can announce on your show that we've got all the information we need," said Patel. Now it’s back to “we’re looking at it” and zero arrests.
This is Pocket, a dog that has bounced around between a nephew & niece for a few years. There were issues so we took him in and decided to adopt him. He’s 6 I guess, 8 pounds, a chiweenie - miniature pinscher mix. I call him Side Pocket cause he rarely leaves mine.
Broad tailed hummingbird is judging. You, me, everybody. Mostly me though probably. Maybe the feeder is a little low. Geez okay.
“Black Chinned 142, tower. You are cleared for landing on Runway 1.”
I broke down a couple of weeks ago & picked up a hummingbird feeder cam from Walmart (on sale, what can I say). It’s interesting but doesn’t solve all problems. Has a couple of its own. But I do get cool shots on occasion …
Caught an immature black chinned hummingbird at my feeder cam. How do I know it’s immature? Cause if you look carefully, after drinking it sticks its tongue out like a dozen times. No better sign of immaturity! #birds
Not a bad day at all to be out hanging with the flock. Breezy but not too windy, nice but not as hot as March. (!) Forecast rain tomorrow would be nice but we’re down to 20% and dropping. The little white flowers on the ground could use it I’m sure.
Put in a hummingbird cam feeder last week, but with the wonderful NM spring winds it hasn’t caught many. (It’s quite the swaying moving target.) But it did catch a nice sunset.
And, lest we forget, the current president of the WHCA is from CBS. So is one of the board members. Doubt they stiff the bosses, err I mean boss. Here’s how the board works. (Weird highlighting is theirs.) For a good laugh, read the last line.
This car (1968 Suzuki Fronte) also ran on all cylinders, 3 to be exact. It could also somewhat surprisingly hold an entire Cabinet dressed up as clowns!
The problem this little guy (lamb 7 of 8 this season) has with the recipe for once doesn’t involve garlic. 😄 The family butchers once or twice a year for birthdays & such. Maybe I can convince someone to try your recipe!
Behold, the Navajo Rez dogs. From L-to-R Chica, Dozer, Barney up front, 14-mo old Chloe, and Smokey. Hiding behind Dozer is little Rosie. Barney & Smokey (SIL’s dog) are brothers. Not shown: Mr Meco, on rest for an IVDD flare.
Whoever runs this sign has the easiest job in the world. Probably hasn’t even shown up in 4-5 weeks.
