So apparently our roof has become a tinder hotspot for black redstart (rougequeue noir en français). They're very noisy during court, it seems. Surprisingly curious too.

I spent last week by the sea for much needed vacation time. A nice place at the end of Brittany, completely deserted.
During my vacation, I was staying at a (lovely old school) hotel that had this amazing AI slop deck of cards in one of the rooms. The more you look at it, the more it's uncanny. I should have asked to buy it because those will be the artefacts of our time. In 10y you won't be able to recognize them.
Well, tobe honest, the trophy looked like some gift from Nyarlathotep to begin with, so what were you expecting? I was expecting full Nyarly, I am not disappointed 🐙✨

Il semble que si, quand même. Cf les différents SSP du GIEC (à gauche les émissions pour voir quand on coupe, à droite le réchauffement correspondant). Si on coupe assez tôt, ça cesse d'augmenter assez vite. En tout cas plus vite qu'un horizon de 30 ans.
Pour compléter, afin que ce ne soit pas une affirmation gratuite: les voitures et les camions représentent 92% des émissions dues au transport. I went running super early this morning to avoid the heat, but still, even before 6:30 it's super hot. It's dry as hell and the birds are lethargic and dehydrated 😔🥵
