Unpopular opinion: 'gravel' bikes are kind of marginal on some local gravel routes because of how chunky and/or soft they are, and a hardtail MTB is faster. If only they still made these bars...

Good, but not particularly suspenseful stage at the Tour today. Beautiful scenery
That was a really fun stage at the Tour - I like this format more than 'traditional' TTT's. That win makes it look like we may have a real race on our hands. Fingers crossed for a really good edition of the race. Here are my notes from the reddit thread

Kohl's here in Bend has an oddly large amount of bike parking. Also uses a good design. Weird for a big box store in a mall area, but it's good to see! The multi-use path nearby is also a strange bit of infrastructure
Way more thoughtful and nuanced take than what 99% of people are going to take away though - especially in an election year. If it were me, I'd probably look for a different cast of characters for this group and work on the messaging. It's still probably a tough sell in our slopulist world though

A few years back we stopped to visit some friends on a whim and ended up staying a few days. It was so relaxing and pleasant and our kids had a lot of fun with their friends. And yeah, no helmets because there was a safe route to the beach
Built in a *hurry* and kind of all looks the same, but still manages to be kind of pleasant. I liked Rimini more than I thought I would. Probably because it's an actual city with more than just the tourist/beach stuff. They also have a decent amount of bike infrastructure
