Got the road bike out for the first time in years. VERY short ride... about 3 miles..... working the kinks out of the bike and myself. Getting used to being clipped into the pedals again... clicking in and out over and over again to get the muscle memory back. Stopped for ice cream.
Alan and I went to this tonight. It was fun. Didn't know what side we should bring, so we picked up some Oregon Wild Rice. First time I've cooked wild rice in the pressure cooker (usually white or brown basmati). Turned out ok and it all got eaten up.
Still there... riding back to the office from the jail today .. decided to check the eagle out. Fortunately, it is only a detour of 3 or 4 blocks. For some reason, it was hunkered down...but still there.
Excuse me, 76, but this is only 1% petroleum diesel. Its price shouldn't rise or fall with the price of petroleum
One of the feral cats at the office. I call her, "Little Miss One Eye." I assume that round middle means more kittens soon. Sigh.
This is only 1% petroleum diesel (99% renewable fuel) and it's $1.10 more than it was on 2-21-26. So much winning.
That tree must have some bugs that the woodpecker(s) find tasty. Multiple sightings recently.
Garlic bread dunk in clam chowder at a brew pub across the street from our motel in Coos Bay. Having a taster sample to decide what to fill the growler with.
On my ebike ride to arraignments at the jail today. In a bit of a rush... Heron is blurry. Dunno what that little bird is that was just outside of the office... maybe a sapsucker?
