I have had a big stall in my reading, which happens from time to time and I’ve learned not to get too stressed about it, but Mrs H has put me right back on it with this, which she picked up from a take-one leave-one rack at Lewes railway station, and very much enjoyed 💙📚

Seeing this up close & personal at MoMA NYC in 2017 was quite a thing. At school in Devon in a sort of 6th Form voluntary ‘enrichment lesson’ Mr Jewell, otherwise a French teacher, showed us a slide of it (along with Matisses, Monets, etc) whilst teaching us all about the beginnings of modern art 🙏🏻
