Just found another witchy book to add to my upcoming release list. Louisa Morgan's The Faerie Handmaid release date is 9/15/26. The one before this is The Faerie Morgana. It was really good. @louisamorgan.bsky.social #witchyreads #witchybooks #magicalreads
Ava Morgyn's Magic For Crosswise Witches release date is 3/16/27. I've loved Ava Morgyn books ever since The Witches of Bone Hill. The Bane Witch was great. I just got Only Spell Deep the other day and I'm really looking forward to reading it. 📚 🧵 6/6
Hester Fox's A Kingdom of Mist and Mourning release date is 1/26/27. Her first book I read was A Lullaby For Witches. It's definitely one of my favorites of hers. Another one of hers I'm going to be reading this fall is The Orphan of Cemetery Hill. It's a good witchy gothic read. 📚 🧵 5/6
Alix E. Harrow's Slantwise Histories : Collected Stories release date is 10/20/26. Looking forward to adding this to my collection of her other books. Fall is coming up and another one of hers to read or reread is The Once and Future Witches. @alixeharrow.bsky.social 📚 🧵 4/6
Nikita Gill's Styx : The River release date is 9/25/26. Her book Hekate : The Witch before this one was really good too. 📚🧵3/6
Alice Hoffman's The Witches of Cambridge release date is 9/08/27. This is right before the movie Practical Magic 2 is released 9/11/26. Really excited about both these releases! @ahoffmanwriter.bsky.social 📚🧵 2/6
I'm going to do a thread of witchy and magical realism authors who have books coming out that I'm excited about. First up is the author that got me reading magical realism in the beginning. Sarah Addison Allen's Paper Ghosts release date is 9/01/26. 📚🧵 1/6
Beautiful! I had to show you the ones I bought myself in 2018. These are my very favorite roses in the whole wide world, black baccaras. 🌹
I read @kellybarnhill.bsky.social When Women Were Dragon's last week and loved it so much! It's been on my list and I finally got to it. It's one of my top favorite books now. Which now leads me to Happy Mass Dragoning Day! 🐉🌈🔥 #massdragoningday #books #magicalreads
Some of the books I'll be reading in the new year. We went to our local pub Bushwaller's and ate too much with our Kilkenny pints. Then on to @curiousiguana.com I call it pub and book day and I try to do it once a month. #books #reading #indiebookstore #pubandbookday
If you enjoy witchy fiction this was good. It felt like the right book at the right time, and similar to how I felt when I read The Once and Future Witches in Oct 2020. #witchybooks #witchyreads #witchystuff

I had a quiet stay in a cabin last week. Saturday night it rained and I got some nice autumn pics on Sunday morning before leaving. #autumn #fall #lichen #leaves #naturephotography

I’m loving Spring edited by Melissa Harrison. I got the summer, autumn, and winter ones as well. It’s great that there’s a mix of writers from our past and present. There’s a wide variety of different types of writing. All the covers are really colorful too. #books #naturereads #spring
I have a trail I’ve loved for decades. There are spots I know not just by sight, but by feel. I can’t explain the feel, but I know it by memory. If I could only ever go on one trial ever again it would always be this one. 1/3 #trail #spring #nature #photography
I took this rainy picture of the maple out one of the top sunroom windows yesterday. I messed around with the color saturation, black point, and brightness a bit and ended up with this abstract. #tree #rain #green #photography #abstract
New leaves on the maple glowing in the sun. #maple #tree #spring #nature #photography
It’s a ‘90s evening: boots and flannel sitting on my back porch swing listening to Tori Amos’ Cornflake Girl and hearing crows flying around and cawing to each other at the end of the song. #90s #toriamos #flannel #boots #raisingirl

Yay, first violet of the season among the magnolia petals. #violet #spring #nature #photograhy
I adore my star magnolias in bloom. I like to stand under them on a sunny day and gaze up at the bright blue sky. Never gets old. Magick every single time. #magnolia #trees #spring #nature #photograhy
