"Regret" presents Beatrice, a character from the animated series Over the Garden Wall. Beatrice was cursed after throwing a rock at a bluebird: all her 12 relatives, as well as her, were transformed into bluebirds. The illustration shows us her transformation, looking in shock and crying as her right arm transforms into a bird's wing. She stands in front of a dark forest, the deep orange of autumn slowly being consumed by cyan and blue. Flying around her and into the forest we spot 12 bluebirds. "the Queen's Mirror" is an illustration depicting a noble female figure holding a mirror, which is showing a reflection of a tree (mostly the roots). the mirror is adorned with a gold frame and gold branches and leaves decorate space around the Queen. she also has a crown with leaf motiff, leaves on her hair and ornate gold earrings.
