Walking through Tower records when I saw Chrissie staring at me from the cover of their first album. Bought it, still listening to it.
How will the wolf survive by Los Lobos. Opens with Don’t Worry Baby and closes with Will the Wolf Survive. Great songs by one of the great American bands.
Small spalted maple bowl. First time trying a “super glue” finish. Don’t normally do glossy finishes but it was an interesting experiment #woodturning #woodworking

Back on the lathe after too long. Maple bowl with burned rim and interior. Tried some carving on the bottom and rim. Think it came out ok. #woodturning #woodworking
New upcycle project. Component rack. Shelves are “Butcherblock” milled from salvaged GluLam beams. Uprights are old growth cedar from logs pulled out of Lake Union. Used to float boathouses. #woodworking #reuse #recycle
Work in process…What was going to be a large deep bowl decided it wanted to be a large shallow bowl after exiting the lathe and traveling across the shop at a high rate of speed. Always try to listen to the wood. #woodworking #woodturning
