above image is nearly a binary image (compression made it fuzzy). close-up of the "halftone" lines that occur from repeatedly sharpening a photo. weird and emergent patterns that resemble circuits.
I still have some artifacts of this era, and a bit before it. (also the "is <thing> dead?" bait has been a thing for as long as there have been headlines)

one of my favorites had been around since the 1930s, and felt like it. was sad to see they recently renovated into a new (not used) shop, but happy the bookstore remains alive. last purchase was a set of Woody Guthrie recordings by Alan Lomax.
I don't follow sports but the vibes have been real good in NYC this week and I appreciate that
