I am currently looking for more comics projects to take on and I will do some more portfolio-type posts and website updates but for now I think I might just do some process posts like this?

I also took an opportunity to have some fun with the stained glass windows here – I'd just been in Lisbon before colouring this and saw some similar light in the catherdral there, plus the idea of something kind of magical leaking from one place into another felt fitting.

the big shiny pages are really fun but I also liked the quiet moments in this book, boring real world browns and greens for our Mary Sue character to contrast against in all her pink haired glory
