AI slop 'photo', here's what it actually looks like... Freaky bird!
Is it just my algorithm or is Twitter completely unusable right now? It's awash with flat earthers deeply upset about the Artemis mission, questioning everything from how astronauts can shave in space to the nature of gravity itself. The level of deep ignorance is terrifying. Sagan was prophetic.
In news surprising no-one, Donald Trump is once again outed as a liar and fantasist. From The Guardian, in his own words:
Dear Prime; You couldn't be wronger. I'd rather plunge freshly sharpened pencils into my eyes than endure one second of the strangled accent of that vapid opportunistic succubus, or gaze upon her stretched soulless face as she contemplates which dress might best hide her emptiness from the world.
Might just have been that it wasn't that bright when you were observing? I saw the big one last year, colours were visible unaided.. the intensity varied over 30 min until too faint to see. Here's a photo from a hill at the other end of Bacchus taken during the recent one, light pollution aplenty:
It was there, but not visible to the naked eye where I was in Bacchus Marsh. Too faint, but the phone camera picked it up. Others got better shots, here's what I got.
Repost this with you and your significant other (not really - but I wish):
I've decided that I've been utterly wrong, instant coffee is not the work of the devil sent to turn us aside from all that is natural and good, but is actually not that bad.
