I have friends who emigrated many years ago from the U.K. and live on Vancouver Island. I’ve toured the Okanagan with them. One of my favourite holidays.
Gochujang marinated salmon on stir fried veg/egg noodles dressed in salty garlic oil. Plus red wine 🤷♂️
Not as exotic but we have two pairs of barn swallows nesting in the outside canopy to our house. I have spent hours watching them feeding their chicks and they have now fledged. The picture is the first time I saw them outside the nest. They just sat there, occasionally stretching their wings
Me and my mate George on Vancouver Island. We were at the Goats on The Roof place in Coombes that does great ice cream in *ahem generous portions.
That looks nice. I defrosted a steak for dinner (thought it was two steaks). It was huge. I haven’t eaten it all. It was nice though.
You made me do it. Now I’ve spoiled dinner. I do still have one left though. They are so much smaller than they used to be.
