my? book?? i know it will be years before i have another book published, so my debut will be extra-special a while longer. still always blows my mind that you can buy and hold and touch and read and dog-ear and write in my book.
i’ve talked about it before. i’ll talk about it again. i read skellig in 2002 and it forever changed me as a writer.

i’ve known sam since our livejournal days. we’ve never been exactly close but have stayed fondly in touch across LJ, tumblr, and now instagram. i remember being over the moon when i heard their first book was out, & i still reread it many octobers & always think of october as the accident season
