When I sort by issue number, it lists the issues backwards -- 264, 263, 262, etc. In the case of EGM, I have to go to page 11 of 11 to get to the first issues. I do not see a way to get it back to just listing the issues in the correct order.
You're right, I could have been more specific. I'm talking about the magazine database. For example, when I go to EGM, it used to list the issues in order (1, 2, 3, etc.). Now it defaults to 1, 10, 100, 101, 102, and so on. The order is all wrong.
Lifted is a pretty good 2.5D platformer. It's basically Rayman + Tomb Raider with a heavy dose of Back to the Future (including a rather obnoxious impression of Michael J. Fox). I like the platforming, but the hero spends the whole game complaining about time traveling. That's annoying.
I was mostly joking, but this is probably a good time to not overreact. Doom (and Id) will be fine.
Trying my hardest to explain the whole Xbox reset thing to this Microsoft Bob-themed brush from 1995.
Look, I get that Danny Masterson has committed far worse crimes in his life, but he should probably get an additional life sentence for the amount of times he uses "phat" or "phatter" to describe things.
More than 30 years after it debuted in arcades, Biomechanical Toy is FINALLY coming to home consoles later this month. The publisher likens it to Metal Slug, but it feels more like a genuinely good (non-science fiction) Cyber Lip mixed with Ghouls 'N Ghosts. I dig it.
I reviewed this game (City Game Studio) five years ago, and since then it has been the only game on my What's New section because it seemingly updated fifteen times a day. It makes this part of Steam completely useless. Even when I limit the notifications, they still get through.
The thumbnail I created myself vs. the A.I.-generated thumbnail YouTube suggested I go with. Yikes!!!!
Playing through Rose & Locket for review, and I'm absolutely blown away by how inventive it is. It grabs you right from the start and never lets go. It's something truly special.
When nearly 70% of your rating system is devoted to failure, then what you have is a terrible rating system that fails the reader.
For as messy and unfocused and meandering and frustrating as Twin Peaks: The Return is, it's also perfect. I wouldn't change a thing.
And when the site does feature the box sets, it mysteriously omits the box art. I noticed this issue across multiple three-packs.
The virtual Criterion Closet site is pretty cool, but it clearly has issues with the box sets. For example, it completely skips over spine #841 (the Lone Wolf & Cub box set).
That moment when you realize that, outside of the developer, you're literally the only person playing this game.
Giving Rayman a 5 out of 10, Game Informer wondered why anybody would want to play a platformer on a PC. (Circa 1996)
No, I would not recommend you keep your favorite Sega Master System boxes in your back pocket. Especially not on a date. (Circa 1991)
I took it for granted as a kid, but I truly can't get over how beautiful the view is from my parent's backyard.
The early 2000s was a crazy time to be a games journalist. Can you guess the D-list actor being interviewed?
