Did a little cooking outdoors last night. Lovely evening, boiggt some stuff from my lovely local butcher -the greengrocer next door had a fire recently and the butcher shop suffered too- to support them, 4 lambchops and a 6 week dry-aged Hereford cattle rib eye steak with a delightfully rich taste!

Two fat bumblebees sat drinking on these lovage flowers, bending them towards my path. But I had to pass from that narrow bit and scared them away, they never came back to finish their party. Sorry little bumblebees!

Bold Bean Co pulses are great. I made a super simple and extremely tasty dish, with chickn thighs, butter beans, peppers, thyme and lemon. Served with hone made bread
