The highest seed left [3] Álex de Miñaur during his morning practice on Centre Court
Mariano Navone practising at Centre Court this morning right before his match against Fils.
Buse went down unceremoniously in his opening match to Norrie. Ignacio had to be treated for his right leg and hip area during the match. So he leaves Montréal and I didn't even get the chance to see him play. 😐
These are my photos from yesterday of Félix Auger‑Aliassime practising with his father, I think, acting as coach.
Aussie Tristan Schoolkate practicing in Montréal (it took me a moment to recognize him)
Wednesday night session, featuring Leylah Fernandez and Alexandra Eala, sold out in Toronto.
Rinky Hijikata and Jaume Munar are back on court. Rinky was called “Rick” by the announcer and Munar, “Y-ome”.
Jack Draper practiced twice during the day, and he still took time for photos with fans, very gentleman. Sir Andrew Baron Murray was not in sight.
Nobody was hitting the ball harder in practice than Arthur Rinderknech. One can hear the sound from a distance.
Best part of the day was Ignacio Buse’s arrival, greeted by a considerable crowd calling him ‘Nacho’. Maybe he didn't expected that in Montréal, but he loved it. The clean touch on his forehand is pure delight to watch.
I’m kicking off my Montréal photo dump with a TennisSky favourite: Hamad Medjedovic. LOL I watched part of his tactical practice: a lot of drop shots. It reminded me Ons Jabeur.
