Idk, I listened to the whole "nearly 13 minutes" on C-Span. I didn't think it was mostly critical, centered on flaws, or defensive. It countered nativism with an eloquent statement--singularly appropriate for NYC--of the aspirations, contributions and achievements of immigrants who became Americans

Good collection, very well-displayed and informative: sarcophagi, pottery and metalwork from tombs, reconstructed shrines with reliefs and votives. Separately, the Civic Museum has sarcophagi too and weird Renaissance forgeries like these. I think agricultural work led to the finding of the Veiovis!

June 24: Birth of John the Baptist Like Luke's Gospel, Giovanni Pisano's Pisa Cathedral Pulpit begins with John the Baptist. We see the washing of the baby at the left. To the right, Zechariah writes his son's name. The Annunciation to Mary and the Visitation are above. Fine inscription too!
