Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days I gave it a shot on DS and I really did not like the gameplay, I’m sorry. Very menial. However, the cutscene movie in the 1.5 Collection is the way to go because this is legit my favorite story in Kingdom Hearts so far. Just never experience before Kingdom Hearts II, ok?
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood Really fun watch! I liked the power system and the arcs for most of the homunculi, especially Envy
Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender (2026) Love the animation and Aang’s new character arc but I’ll be real, this should not have been a movie. There’s a lot of promise in this premise but it should have been so much more fleshed out. An Avatar season crammed into a movie, sound familiar, Shyamalan?
Obsession (2026) I don’t watch a lot of horror movies but no movie has turned my stomach inside out like this since John Carpenter’s The Thing. I can still smell the lunch Nikki packed Bear. Beautifully gut-wrenching.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day In terms of scope and scale, this felt way more like Spider-Man than any of his previous MCU outings. The emotional beats were really good and I loved his dynamic with the Punisher.
Find Mii🔁 BEST RPG EVER MADE BABYYYYYY. BETTER THAN PERSONA, BETTER THAN FF7, BETTER THAN EVERYTHANG
Hadestown: The Musical I spent most of my life not caring much for Greek mythology but in this moment, I did care. Every lead role had such a wildly different singing voice and every use of leitmotifs scratched my brain in just the right way.
Very Important People (Season 3) Yeah, maybe this one's running out of steam. I really liked the Fanoli, Boris Tarshkokan and 🛑 episodes, but most were kinda not very funny at all. Great host and great talent, but they can't all be winners I guess.
Delicious In Dungeon (Season 1) I got five pounds heavier just by watching. Really charming show where every main character has been a comfort character. A-tier English dub and visual gags that had me cackling.
Kingdom Hearts II An improvement over the first game in every conceivable way and the most fun combat in any video game I’ve ever played. Was so nice to see the stuff from KH1 and CoM be resolved. Next time I play, I’m taking my time on Roxas’s prologue. He deserves a longer vacation :)
The Angry Birds Movie🔁 Try not to think about this movie too hard, you might realize Red is a prejudiced chud. Other than that, moderately funny.
My Chemical Romance - Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys🔁 Not sure I like the remaster's removal of all the spoken stuff, but it's not like I was gonna listen to Goodnite Dr. Death again. Easily top 2 MCR albums regardless. Summertime, SING, and Bulletproof Heart are my faves.
Minions & Monsters (2026) This was my first time seeing a movie in ScreenX and I would not care to do it again. The movie itself genuinely really understands and loves cinema at its roots, but it's still a Minions movie. Best film Illumination put out this year since Mario let me down so hard🙊
Jackass: Best & Last Legit the closest I’ve ever gotten to vomiting in the theater. Seven outta ten.
Witch Hat Atelier (Season 1) I never thought a show where children are constantly in peril would be so cozy for me. Really fun watch and Quifrey made me feel things I’m ngl
Deltarune: Chapter 5 God, I loved this one. There was a very clear sense of growth from every character, with Ralsei and Noelle getting much bolder compared to Chapter 4. The Dark World gameplay gimmick is my absolute favorite yet, but I’m biased.
Among Us (2026) This is the best season of Infinity Train. I never thought I’d feel so nostalgic for 2018, it really encapsulated the whole Among Us experience in a fun and relatable way.
The End Of Evangelion Genuinely the most avant-garde movie I’ve ever watched. Probably the closest thing I’ll witness to real ego death. The most fucked ending to anything ever, and I love it for that.
Neon Genesis Evangelion This is probably best saved for my therapist, but maybe Shinji's struggles with facing things that could cause pain and doing only what earns validation from others hit too close to home. I really, really liked it.
Toy Story 5 They nailed it again, huh? it’s a bit better than 4 IMO. Jessie’s arc was a perfect progression from 2. Bonnie was surprisingly nuanced compared to how Andy was in previous movies. I love that it had much more to say than “phone bad.” However, this movie would be the same without Woody.
The Amazing Digital Circus: The Last Act🔁 The ending is growing on me, but there are some bits that I have questions about that don’t feel like up-to-interpretation matters
The Amazing Digital Circus + The Last Act Always liked the presentation, but the storytelling and dialogue sometimes came off as disjointed. Eps 3, 6 & 8 were marginally the best. The hate for the ending is way hyperbolized, and this is coming from someone who doesn’t care for Jax.
Avatar: The Legend of Korra (Book 4) This season has a combined fourty seconds of yuri. Decent end but Bolin kinda sucked at the beginning of this. His character arc was more of a sine wave. Overall, TLoK is fine but unfortunately season 3 is the only one that comes close to TLA levels of fun.
Kingdom Hearts: Re:Chain of Memories The card-based gameplay is a bitch sometimes tbh. It’s acquired taste and it goes on a bit long for something that rehashes the worlds from the first game, but Organization XIII rules. Riku’s route is way more fun that Sora’s in my opinion.
Backrooms Completely fucked up movie that keeps you theorizing and trying to make sense of the Backrooms yourself. Awesome set design and cinematography. Loved it!
Avatar: The Legend of Korra (Book 3) CONSIDERABLY better than the last season, all the new Airbenders are such a good foil to... well, The Last Airbender. Much stronger arcs and fights in this one.
Avatar: The Legend of Korra (Book 2) There was maybe half a good character arc in this one. I got frustrated by everything Mako and Bolin did. And the penultimate episode had one writing decision SO STUPID that any Avatar installment that takes place after Korra is effectively nerfed.
The Format - Boycott Heaven I’ve heard Nate Ruess’s work with Fun in the past but this is way better. His voice is so unique and I could listen for hours. My faves off of this one are the title track and Holy Roller.
Avatar: The Legend of Korra (Book 1) It throws me off to consider benders existing in any era other than the one in TLA. Not as fun as that show so far, but Korra is a nice change of pace as far as protagonists go. Really liked the latter half of the season, though.
