Never let the perfect be enemy of the good, especially in photography.
This is Powerscourt Waterfall on the first day of August 2026. I have never seen the water flow this low before and no sign of any significant rainfall to come. No frogspawn survived this year. Next year I'll rescue the remaining tadpoles and urban guerilla them locally.
Not to mention this is an actual world cup, held every 4 years rather than some cheap made up format to flog players already exhausted after a too long season
Here is a Barn Swallow that has zero interest in any current VAR controversy. #photography #mft #birding
Here are some #Dragonflies from Provence using an OM1ii F4 300mm with TC 1.4. Focus stacked x8. #mft #photography
Right. So what she gets wrong is "blaming both sides" the original statement from the DSA here www.dsausa.org/statements/o... does blame US/NATO expansionism as being the cause of the war (false) but does demand Russian withdrawal from Ukraine for which we presume includes the occupied territories.
I'm saying Greylag Geese have #redbeaks and this #birdoftheday wasn't altered in any way that I can remember! OK. It is orange...
What's that? The @royalsociety.org are blocking accounts that are unhappy with their association with this person...
That's the photographer David Yarrow who was also responsible for the Ryder Cup montage in Manhattan on the basis of "New York was built by Europeans schtick". More importantly that montage like this one raises millions for charities because Mr Yarrow is a great photographer & philanthropist.
South Stack? I've had really bad weather on both occasions and this was the closest I could get. I had my doubts, thanks
Michael Lewis wrote a book about this called the Fifth Risk and about the only thing he got wrong about it was which presidency it would happen.
#birdoftheday is #insectivores so here is a heavily cropped Stonechat and you can clearly see the something unpronounceable in its beak
Sparrows only live two years and should get a little bit more love I think.
