The pre-send check, nine lines: - width 600–800px - nested tables + inline CSS - alt text on every image - one column below 600px - dark mode tested, not assumed - custom preheader, 90 characters - one CTA per content block - file size optimised for mobile
Outlook renders email through the Microsoft Word engine, and Word ignores Flexbox. So a two-column block that looks perfect in Gmail collapses into two stacked blocks. Nested tables with inline styles don’t. Build at 600–650px, one column below 600.
The three traits: - a repeatable template - one clear action per content block - one layout that holds in Outlook, Gmail and Apple Mail The first two are decisions. The third is testing.
Every marketer says their newsletter is “engaging.” The ones that actually are share three traits, and the third is the one nobody checks. 🧵
All 30+ prompts are sorted by email type and ready to copy. Go steal them 👇 designmodo.com/ai-email-pro...
The tip nobody uses: tell the AI what to AVOID. "No exclamation marks. No spam trigger words. No clickbait." Boundaries shape output as much as instructions do.
The framework. Every strong email prompt mixes some of these: - Context: what it's about - Audience: who gets it - Goal: what they should do - Tone: how it sounds - Length: short or detailed - CTA: what the button says You don't need all six. Each one cuts your editing.
Most AI emails come out generic for one reason: the prompt was lazy. "Write a sales email for my company" gives the AI nothing. So it guesses, and you get junk. Here's the 6-part fix, plus 30+ ready prompts 🧵
No more "not THAT button, the other one." Team Comments are LIVE in Postcards email builder 🎉 - Pin feedback to the exact block - Thread replies, mark resolved - Tag in clients & copywriters Feedback finally lives on the template, not in Slack 👇 designmodo.com/postcards/te...
Workspaces just landed in the Postcards email builder 🎉 Each one gets its own projects, members & billing: - Separate space for personal and each client - Shared team Workspace, billed on its own - Switch contexts from one login - No more endless project sidebar
"Write a welcome email" = generic junk you'll rewrite. Add brand + audience + goal = actually sendable. Designmodo's 30+ AI email prompts cover subject lines, welcome emails, promos, follow-ups & full design. Copy, paste, fill in the blanks 👇 designmodo.com/ai-email-pro...
